You’ll be able to start taking in speakers bio’s and sneak previews of talks next Monday. Where, you say? We’re proudly putting the finishing touches on our official website, so prepare for the blanks to be filled at the start of the next workweek.
Finally, last year we had far too much fun with the HackFest we co-presented with EngineYard last year for RubyFringe, and decided to create a redux event with added flare. The newest edition to the Augusta Bloc Party is HotShot Gallery, where we’ll be curating installations and multimedia exhbiits in the front, and a serious hackers cove in the back – the reverse mullet of parties, if you will. We’ll be running an espresso bar in the venue to keep you wired, catering to the whims of your munchies, and the lovely staff at HotShot will be running the usual bar rail goodies.
Keep in mind that there’s a Russian Navy-themed night with performers, DJ’s and drinks going on across the street at The Boat in glorious synchronicity. We seriously can’t emphasize booking your flight out on Monday the 13th enough.
And the Comrade/Companion track is running out of tickets. Run, run.
